I play basket ball and play for South Hornby cobras.In term 1 we were good but when we versed hornby primary we lost against them.In term 3 we lost nearly all our games but we tried.I also got a half way shot and everyone was cheering for me.In term 4 we were so good.We won all our games apart from one.We lost against tempelton hot shots.
2We went to living springs for camp and it was fun.We did recreation, zip line, swimming, air rifles and archery and other stuff.My favorite activity was initiatives because we were like doing an obstacle course and i carried most of my group.My favorite one was the one we had to get over the wall and i had to lift them all up.When we did swimming we were allowed to jump in and do manu's and cannon balls.What we ate there was nacho cheese, burgers, macaroni and cheese, rice and curry and other yum food.
In inquiry we learned about worm farms.You need tiger worms because it helps with the environment, and don't use earthworms because it will not work with it.It was from me, miraj, connor, toi and zak

Today we did digital citizenship and we were doing rules that don't spread rumors.Then we had to do we do and we don't.We do is when you do something right.We don't is when you need to think before you act.
Hi this is Eligh from South Hornby school.Mrs Jones gave us 6 letters to stick them in.The letters I got was F T and S.For f I did them on slide. Turn it 90% angle then you glue it on the right way or you will fail.Now the one i'm using now is turn and the letter for that one was T.So what I did was put the t how it normally is and the t side ways and that's how I did it.Now I am doing flip and the letter I'm doing for that is s.What i did was stick the S normally and get the other S and flip it to the other side and then glue that and that is how I did that.

In art we were drawing for the past 7 weeks.I drew the falling down the tunnel.My color was yellow,green,blue and pink.
In technology we were making models their was heaps of models to make.There were boats,planes,yacht,stilts and cars i picked boat.We had to make them and paint it and put our logos on mine was called lightning.
In reading we were debating i debated about gaming addiction.We had to write about pros which are about gaming is fun and cons are about gaming is bad.If you play to much games you might have eye problems and trouble with sleeping and for some people gaming is good for them.They should play sport like rugby,golf,soccer and other sport.
In writing we were writing about a picture it was about canoe riders.The canoe cuts through the fog slowly in the swamp.
The girl in the pink is swaying her fingers through the water.They can see the dark and creepy swamp. They can look at the white fog. They spy on the tree because it might break and fall onto them. Maybe they can see alligators and come up to them. They can see dead birds in the swamp.
The smell of the stinky vegetation mingles with the dampness of the murky water to create a setting. They can smell the yucky swamp.They can smell the jungle. The animals that live in the jungle and poop the people and can smell it.
If there were alligators they would hear them. They can hear people talking. They can hear the animals making noise and the birds chirping. They can hear the wind and the wind making the trees move.
They finally finished there trip on the boat so now they can go on land.
In writing we leaned about metaphors.Metaphor is like a simile but not using like or as.You use is,was,were and are in a metaphor.For example peter is an angel.
In reading we were suppose to write a poster for the javan rhinos because some of them are dieing. There are only 67 more javan rhinos.
In Te reo maori we had to get in buddy's and talk in maori to each other.We had to say a greeting and asking how you and responding to each other and a farewell.
In maths we had to do stuff that how much a word cost.My name cost 41 dollars.The other question was when can you find a word that is worth exactly 100 dollars and it was contended.The other question was what is the expensive word is and it was evaluating.The last question was what was the least expensive word was and it was ab.
In reading after we did all of our work we could do something cool.Wonder is a book.It's like making a avatar and it's like a game.

In writing we were trying to convince someone to do something.Every child should play a team sport because it makes you healthy and fit and reduces your body weight.I believe everyone should play a team sport because it makes you fit, it helps with teamwork and it helps you make new friends.
Firstly, children should play a team sport so you can get fit and get strong. It will make you healthy because it is a good exercise. It is like a workout that helps your strength. Playing sports helps reduce your body weight and your overall health.
Secondly,it helps with teamwork because it can be easier and jobs will not take anywhere near as long. If you are in a job and you're stuck on something you can have help. It makes you have a lot of friends that will help you. Teamwork is important for everyone.
Finally, playing a team sport helps you make new friends. If you help someone they might be friends with you. You can have a celebration about having new friends. You can be a great teammate. Maybe you can trust your friends and they can trust you.
In conclusion, everybody should play a team sport because you get fit and get healthy.It reduces your body weight and teaches you teamwork.
Dice game is a math game it is pretty fun.It is like connect 4.It is a 2 player game.You have to roll a 2 dice.If it rolls a 5 and a 3 you have to do 5x3=15 and you colour the number 15.If it is four in a row you win.
