I am a Year 6 student in the Uru Mānuka Cluster. My teacher is Miss McLeod. This is a place where I will be able to share my learning with you. Please note....some work won't be edited - just my first drafts, so there may be some surface errors. I would love your feedback, comments, thoughts and ideas.

Make it monday
What iv,e been doing with my teacher is something called Arena perimeter explorer. When i was doing is it looked tricky and it looked like doing math's. What i had to do is try to draw something like my picture or you can draw your own thing or a imagination. And you had to measure your drawing.

Kia ora Eligh, great to see you at the Google Hangout this morning. I like the picture you have created. I did a tree on my one too. Did you manage to measure the perimeter of one of your shapes. I would pick the tree trunk because the rectangle shape makes it straight forward. Each long side is 4 cm and each short side is 1 cm so it would be 4+4+1+1. Do you think you can work it out?
